FREEZING

Embryo Freezing

Origin aims to collect maximum possible good quality egg and sperm from one IVF stimulation cycle, create enough good quality embryos for patients to complete their family. When we do fresh transfer of few embryos then remaining embryo we can freeze and use for subsequent cycle if fresh transfer fails. These embryos can use for second child also.

Egg Freezing

• Medical freezing – There are several medical conditions where the disease itself or the treatment will likely accelerate the ovarian follicle depletion. In these case ovarian stimulation, egg collection followed by vitrification of egg is primary option.

• Social freezing – egg freezing is increasingly performed for women for the reason to serve as a “back up option” for age related infertility. As society is evolving , more and more women are delaying childbearing to more advanced maternal age, when natural pregnancy rate is reduced and even conventional IVF may not be able to help me that time. This provides the ability to conceive years or decade(s) later as efficiently as at the time the fertility preservation (egg freezing ) was performed.

• For emergency cycle management. When on the day of egg collection failure to obtain sperm.
